Privacy Policy

Short version: I do not collect your personal information. There are no accounts, ads, cookies, analytics or tracking scripts.

What stays on your device

Your place in the Rosary and your settings (such as text size, theme, Latin and chant choices) are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device. They are never sent to me. See the Cookies page for how to clear them.

Offline files

The site uses a service worker so it works offline. It saves copies of the site’s own files (pages, fonts, photos and any chant you play) in your browser’s cache. These are site files, not information about you.

Server logs

The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type, to deliver the site and keep it secure. See the Netlify privacy policy. I do not use these logs to identify or track anyone.

Third parties

Every file the site needs, including fonts, photos and chant audio, is served from latinrosary.org itself. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts, a CDN, Unsplash or Wikimedia while you use the site. The photos come from Unsplash and the chant recordings from Wikimedia Commons, but copies are hosted here. If you click a credit or source link (for example to Unsplash, Wikimedia Commons, Wikipedia or vatican.va), you leave this site and that site’s own privacy policy applies.

Children

The site collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, I will update this page and the date below.
